TempShare is a temporary file-sharing service. If someone is using it to share illegal, harmful or infringing content, tell us and we will remove the file immediately — links expire automatically within 6 hours, but we do not wait for that when there is a valid report.
What to include in your report
Send us the complete share link (it looks like https://…/f/a8Kx92LmQp) and a short description of the problem. If you are reporting copyright infringement, identify the work you own and state that you are the rights holder (or authorised to act for them).
- The full share URL of the file
- Why the content is illegal, harmful or infringing
- Your contact email so we can respond
- For copyright claims: the work claimed, a good-faith statement, and your electronic signature
Where to send it
Email reports to abuse@example.com. We review reports as quickly as possible — a valid report usually results in the file being deleted well before its natural 6-hour expiry. For anything time-critical (for example active threats), also contact the relevant authorities.
abuse@example.com with your real abuse-report inbox before going to production — see docs/deployment.md.What we can and cannot tell you
For privacy reasons we do not store uploader IP addresses in readable form — only an irreversible salted hash used to enforce our one-active-file limit. That means we cannot tell you who uploaded a file, and we will not share any uploader information we do not have. Law-enforcement requests are handled case by case.
