The short answers to common questions.
Is TempShare really free?
Yes, completely. There is no premium tier and no hidden charge. The service is funded by legitimate display advertising, nothing else.
Do I need an account to upload a file?
No. TempShare works without sign-up, without an email address, and without a password. You arrive, upload, and share, entirely anonymously.
How long do download links last?
Exactly six hours from the moment you upload. After that the link stops working and the file is permanently and automatically deleted from storage.
What is the maximum file size?
10 MB per file. If you have several files to send, zip them into a single archive first so everything travels under one link.
Why can I only have one active file at a time?
The limit of one active file per public IP address keeps the free service fair and prevents abuse. You can upload again as soon as your current link expires or is deleted.
Are my files private?
Your download link is cryptographically random and cannot be guessed, so only people you share it with can reach the file. We never store your IP address in plaintext, only a salted hash used for abuse prevention, and everything is deleted after six hours.
